Scholarships and Financial Aid for Soldiers and Veterans

As we hope you already know, your VA benefits are not the only kind of financial assistance available to you.  There are numerous scholarships created especially for soldiers and/or veterans, there are an almost unlimited number of scholarships for past academic performance, for special talents, for students with disabilities, and for students pursuing careers in designated professions arguments for your essay.

But, that’s just the beginning.  Large corporations and small businesses offer scholarships; so do civic organizations, affinity groups, religious organizations, churches, professional associations, and many other groups whose members want to help people like you successfully pursue your educational and career goals.

The money you need is out there and we can point you in the right direction to find it.

If you are a veteran, one the first things you want to do is visit the VA education benefits page for an overview of your benefits.

If you are currently serving, your base education officer may very well know of scholarships for which you are likely to qualify.

Regardless of your age or military status, guidance counselors at area high schools and financial aidand scholarship officers at two-year and four-year scholarships may have a list of locally sponsored and awarded scholarships and grants.
